Presidential Inauguration 2021 Schedule & Balls
Day 1: Tues Jan 19, 2021: Black Tie & Boots Presidential Inaugural Ball
- This is hosted by the Texas Society. It’s like the other big balls, but the only one that happens the night before the swearing-in.
- Typically starts at 7 PM at Gaylord National Resort
Day 2: Wed Jan 20, 2021: Swearing-In Ceremony
- The official ceremonies of Inauguration Day start around noon on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol with the vice president-elect and president-elect taking the Oaths of Office. The inaugural address follows.
- These are the ticket options for the swearing-in ceremony:
- Mall Standing
- Closer Standing (North, South, West)
- Reserved Seated
Day 3: Thurs Jan 21, 2021: Official Presidential Inaugural Committee Balls
- There will be 3 to 7 distinct balls where the POTUS will make an appearance. [Tickets for sale]
- There are 10 to 20 other balls, but they are not official Presidential Inaugural Committee balls. [Tickets NOT for sale here]
